How Does an Ultrasound Examination Work?

Sonography is a safe method used primarily in gynecology, cardiology, and orthopedics, allowing doctors to analyze tissues in detail.

1

The patient exposes the examined area

2

A special gel is applied to the skin

3

The doctor moves a handheld device over the examined area

4

The examination usually takes place in a lying position

Benefits of Sonography

Painless - no invasive procedures required

Safe - does not use ionizing radiation

Quick appointments - schedule a specific time

Detailed analysis - accurate tissue imaging
